A Trip to Creswell Crags
Year 3 pupils from Model Village have been on a trip to Creswell Crags as part of their topic on the Stone Age. They investigated the caves where people lived during the Palaeolithic era, sharpened their survival skills, and became palaeontologists!
The children participated in hands-on activities, such as crafting their own stone tools and building a small structure out of wood.
They eagerly explored the dark, mysterious caverns, armed with torches and curiosity, as they learnt about the tools and techniques our ancestors used to survive.
Guided by knowledgeable instructors, the pupils also discovered the significance of ancient cave paintings, reflecting the rich history and culture of early humans.
